John Youloundas B.E. M.EngSt MIE(Aust) NPER3
After graduating from the University of NSW in 1986, John began his career with Macdonald Wagner Engineers (now Aurecon) as a civil engineer involved in water supply projects before joining Miller Milston Ferris in 1987 where he was involved in a variety of commercial building projects including the Capita Centre (9 Castlereagh Street Sydney - 34 storey tower), Liverpool Town Centre. (7 storey Commercial development), and the 729 Club (St Leonards).
In 1989, John moved to Brisbane where he undertook a Masters of Engineering Studies while working with Bornhorst and Ward Engineers on major projects including Pacific Fair Shopping Centre – Gold Coast, and ATO Offices – Brisbane.
John returned to Sydney and in 1999 was appointed to the position of Associate at Miller Milston Ferris, where he was involved in the redevelopment of Liverpool and Oberon Hospitals, extensions to Shoalhaven hospital, extensions to the National Gallery in Canberra, redevelopment of Town Hall Arcade and School of Veterinary Science auditorium at Sydney University.
After a short period in a start-up consulting engineering practice, John joined D’Ambrosio Consulting in 2002 and has since been involved in the heritage redevelopment of the former Prince Henry Hospital site at Little Bay, new tenancy fit outs and podium level upgrades at Chifley Tower in Sydney, prestige residential developments, Coffs Harbour Justice Precinct development and various commercial and industrial developments.
